How To Review Participant Applications

When participants apply for your moderated study, you can review each application before confirming who you want to speak to.

Applications are managed from the study management view.

For each applicant, you can review:

  • Match score — how closely the participant matches your study criteria
  • Eligibility checks — which criteria were met or not matched
  • Screener answers — the participant’s answers to your study-specific questions
  • Profile answers — relevant saved profile data shown alongside screener answers where available
  • Connection quality status — an indicator of the participant’s readiness for a live session
  • Application status — such as applied, accepted, rejected or waitlisted

From this view, you can accept, reject or waitlist an applicant.

Accepting a participant moves them into the session confirmation flow. Waitlisting keeps them available in case you need a replacement later. Rejecting removes them from consideration for that study.

You can also message participants through the platform if you need to clarify something before making a decision.

This review step gives your team control over who is confirmed for the session, while still using DLYTE’s matching and quality signals to guide selection.
