How Participants Join A Moderated Session

Once a participant’s session is confirmed, DLYTE manages the join process from the participant side.
The participant receives a confirmation email with the session date, time and timezone. They also receive reminders before the session by email and SMS. The SMS reminder allows them to reply and confirm whether they can attend.
The participant joins through DLYTE. They do not need to download a separate app.
A Join Session button appears on their Sessions page 30 minutes before the session starts.
Before entering the room, the participant must complete a consent step. They must confirm:
Both confirmations are required before the Join Session button becomes active.
Participants must also have completed phone verification before they can apply for or book a moderated session. This verification happens earlier in the process and is required before they can reach the session stage.
DLYTE does not currently confirm an in-product camera or microphone check before joining. Participants should make sure their browser, camera, microphone and internet connection are ready before the session.
