How DLYTE Vets And Matches Participants

DLYTE is not an open panel or survey pool. Every participant who joins the platform goes through a structured vetting process before they can take part in paid research.

Before a tester can book a session, they must complete account verification, including phone and SMS confirmation. This is a platform gate, not a preference. Participants who have not completed verification cannot apply to or attend a moderated session.

Beyond identity, DLYTE builds a structured profile for each participant over time. This includes core information such as demographics, location, employment, devices and digital experience, as well as category-specific modules. The Telecommunications module, for example, captures mobile provider, plan type, monthly spend, home internet setup and switching behaviour.

This profile data is used to match participants to relevant studies based on what they have already confirmed, not just what they self-report at the moment of applying.
Matching draws on eight signals:

  • Core profile data
  • Category-specific behaviour
  • Study eligibility requirements
  • Participant availability
  • Identity verification status
  • Profile completenes
  • Historical reliability
  • Quality indicators from past participation

Where a study requires additional specifics, screener questions act as a confirmation layer on top of the profile match. This reduces reliance on unverified, last-minute responses.

DLYTE prioritises quality of signal over volume. Participants who provide accurate, complete and reliable information receive higher match priority. Those who show low-quality or unreliable behaviour face reduced platform access.
