What To Do If A Participant Does Not Attend

DLYTE sends reminders before each moderated session to reduce the risk of no-shows.

Participants receive email and SMS reminders before the session. The SMS reminder allows them to reply and confirm whether they can attend.

If a participant does not join at the scheduled time, no-show detection is not automatic. The business marks the participant as a no-show from the study management view.

When a no-show is recorded:

  • The participant is notified and can provide a reason
  • A reliability event is recorded against their profile
  • Their future matching priority may be affected
  • The study is updated to show that a replacement is needed
  • Your team receives a notification

The participant’s explanation can be reviewed, but the no-show still becomes part of their reliability history unless resolved through DLYTE’s process.

Once a replacement is needed, the study can return to recruiting. You can review existing waitlisted applicants or wait for new applicants to apply.

DLYTE does not automatically assign a replacement participant. Your team reviews and confirms the replacement.
